Ancrages au sol / Ground fixing

Si vous le désirez vous pouvez installer des ancrages pour visser des anneaux pour fixer l'avion au sol.
You may wish to install fittings to bolt rings in order to fix the aircraft to the ground.

Installez les plaquettes avec l'écrou prisonnier à l'intérieur des équerres en carbone.
Positionnez les équerres contre le longeron, à l'arrière de celui-ci, et à 40 mm de l'extrémité de l'aile. Repérez la position du percage D 6mm à faire dans l'intrados pour passer la vis de l'anneau.
Percez.
Collez les équerres contre le longeron avec la colle époxy XE-2162, maintenez en place avec l'anneau ciré et maintenez la partie supérieure avec du scotch.
Install the plates featuring captive nuts into the carbon fiber-made angle plates.
Place the angle plates against the spar (rear side), 40 mm from the wing tip.
Locate the position for drilling the 6 mm hole into the lower surface to attach the ring.
Drill.
Bond the angle plates against the spar with epoxy XE-2162, hold them in place with the waxed ring and hold the upper part in place with adhesive tape.

Préparation du support
Support preparation :

Tracer l'emplacement de la découpe de l'extrémité du revêtement de voilure, en laissant un jeu de 3-4 mm au delà du bout de l'aileron. Faites un tracé perpendiculaire à l'aile.
Découper proprement l'excédent de revêtement en carbone (dont on va se resservir), et de faux longeron, sans entamer le longeron principal.

Draw the cutting line, leaving a clearance of 3-4 mm after the tip of the aileron. The cutting must be perpendicular to the wing.
Cut the excess of carbon skin and false spar with care (it will be re-used), without cutting the tip of the main spar.

Egalisez le bord.
Smooth the edge.

Enlevez les bourrelets de colle au bout du longeron.
Remove the excess amount of glue on the tip of the main spar.

Sur le morceau récupéré, découper le faux longeron dans les angles (pas besoin de décoller le rebord de collage).
On the scrap, cut-off the false spar in the corners (no need to debond the glued flange).

En insérant le bord d'attaque à l'intérieur du bord d'attaque de l'aile, repérer les encoches à découper en face du longeron principal et du faux longeron. (Prévoir large à cause des bourrelets de colle).
Profondeur des encoches : 20 à 25 mm.
Sliding the scrap part leading edge inside the wing l-e, locate the slots to be cut face to the main and false spars. (Plan to make them a little too large, for the glue upset).
Slot depth : 20 to 25 mm.

Découper les encoches, et vérifier le montage.
Cut the slots, and check it can be installed correctly.

Préparez la pièce pour la maintenir pendant le collage en la fixant avec des bitards.
Prepare the part to be hold during the bonding, fastening it with some clecos.

Poncez le gelcoat sur la zone à encoller. Dégraissez la pièce et l'intérieur du revêtement d'aile.
Collez la pièce à la colle époxy A-175 et maintenez en place avec les bitards. Raclez la colle qui s'échappe sur le soyage.
Abrade all the gelcoat in the area to be glued. Degrease the part and the inner surface of the wing skin.
Glue with A-175 epoxy and hold in place with clecos. Wipe the glue that spreads in the angle.

Insérez la nervure d'extrémité à l'intérieur, au besoin poncez-la pour lui permettre de rentrer plus facilement (jeu pour la colle).
Collez-la à la colle époxy (double encollage). La face externe doit être au niveau de la fin du revêtement.

Insert the wing tip rib inside the airfoil, if necessary abrade it so as to make it slide in freely (thin clearance for the glue).
Glue it with epoxy (glue on both surfaces). The outer face must be level with the wing skin edge.

Matérialisez la découpe du support de saumon à 25 mm du rebord du revêtement, à l'aide d'un scotch de peintre. Découpez puis égalisez.
Draw the cutting line at 25 mm from the skin edge, with some painting adhesive tape. Cut and smooth the edge.

Détourage et fixation des saumons
Wingtips contouring and fastening

- Faites une  découpe d'approche à environ 55 mm du rayon de raccordement  du dièdre du saumon (à l'extrados).
La découpe doit être perpendiculaire au plan de l'aile.
- First cut at about 55 mm from the radius between flat part and dihedral part (on the top skin).
The cut-out must be perpendicular to the wing.

Poser une bande de scotch de 25 mm au bord de la fin de revêtement.
Put a 25 mm wide adhesive tape along the wing skin edge.

Emboiter le saumon sur le bout d'aile, et le positionner sur l'aile (en angle et en position sur l'envergure) grace à l'outil ci dessus : l'outil doit être posé sur le faux longeron , parallèle à celui ci. L'angle de la pointe doit être 20 mm en arrière du logement de feu flash.
Case the wingtip onto the wing end, and find its right position (dihedral and span position) with the tool described above. The tool must be put on the false spar, parallel with it. The angle for the edge support has to be 20 mm behind the strobe light recess.

Coller une bande de scotch de la même largeur au dessus de la bande précédente, puis collez une seconde bande bord à bord.
Put a tape (same width ! ) over the previous one, then a second one along, edge to edge.

Coupez le long du bord de la bande de scotch (couper à quelques mm, et poncer doucement jusqu'au bord de la bande de scotch).
Cut along the tape (cut at a few millimeters, then abrade carefully up to the tape edge).

Remontez le saumon sur le bout d'aile et "fignolez" l'ajustage.
Put the wingtip back on the wing and finish the trimming to make it fit correctly.

Vérifiez la symétrie des deux saumons.
Check both wingtip mounting is symmetrical.

Percez diam. 3.2 mm  à 15 mm du soyage, et fixez avec des bitards.
Drill 3.2 mm diameter holes 15 mm from the skin edge, and hold with cleco fasteners.

Quand tous les trous sont faits, aggrandissez-les dia. 4mm.
Once all the holes are drilled, enlarge them at 4 mm diameter.

Installez les écrous prisonniers de fixation du saumon.
Fix the wingtip fastening floating anchors.
